CD / DVD Direct Amplification Circuit
Engaged by a front panel switch, it matches CD / DVD signal levels so each stage produces less noise, resulting in improved S/N ratio and maintenance of the amps total gain balance.

The RX-777 receiver is dedicated to those who want the finest in stereo reproduction. It features Yamaha's ToP-ART design, provides 100 watts per channel, supports a second zone, and has I/O ports for custom installation applications.

PURE DIRECT AND CD DIRECT CIRCUITS
To maintain signal purity, the RX-777 provides paths for CD players and other sources that bypass the tone controls and other pre-amp circuits.

A/B SPEAKER SELECTOR
Allows selection of either a first set of speakers main speaker or a second -- or both.

SLEEP TIMER
Permits a delayed receiver turn off. You can set it for up to two hours in 30 minute increments.

40-STATION DIRECT ACCESS PRESET TUNING
Up to 40 preset AM and FM stations can be grouped in five groups eight stations. These groupings make it easy for family members to easily access their favorite stations or to have musical genres, such as all the jazz stations, grouped together.
