Canon CLC 4000 Color Copier

Specifically engineered to deliver maximum value at minimal cost, the CLC 4000 combined with ColorPASS-Z6100 offers print-for-pays, corporate reproduction departments, and graphic designers improved handling of heavy media, greater color consistency, and for the first time advanced color control tools including Spot On, Unlimited Separations, and Auto Trapping with the optional Fiery Graphic Arts Package.

Additional ColorPASS connectivity functionality includes real time job tracking, mixed media output sets, scale to fit imaging, and an enhanced Command WorkStation 4.1 or new LE 4.0 version for Macintosh. Variable Data Printing is also supported through Fiery's FreeForm 2 as well as PPML.

With a 4,850-sheet maximum paper capacity for extended print runs, the CLC 4000 sports a new 3,500-sheet Side Paper Deck-R1 that, through Canon's Air Assist technology, supports media up to 253 gsm as large as 12" x 18". Professional finishing options include the Nagel Finisher for inline creation of saddle-stitched and trimmed booklets and the High-capacity TS-100 for easy transfer to offline finishing devices.

• Operating at a remarkable 40 pages-per-minute for both color and black-and-white output, the CLC 4000 also has the ability to handle heavier stock paper at speeds close to twice that of previous color devices.
• The new Paper Deck-R1 answers your production customer's needs, with the ability to handle heavier (up to 253 gsm simplex, 163gsm duplex) and larger (up to 12 x 18) media directly from the paper deck.
• Air Assist technology is incoporated into the Paper Deck-R1, increasing reliability in paper feeding and reducing friction that causes jamming and artifacts.
• Canon's Finer, Brighter Toner enables the CLC 4000 to yield one of the widest color ranges in its class.
• Through Canon's Automatic Image Refinement technology, the CLC 4000 boosts text and graphics to the visual equivalent of 800x400 dpi, giving your output the sharpest detail possible.
• The optional Recirculating Document Feeder accommodates up to 100 sheets of letter, letter-R, or statement originals, or 50 pages of ledger or legal paper (from 17 lb. to 32 lb.)
• The optional Stack Bypass Alignment Tray improves front/back registration.
• The optional Nagel Finisher enables the CLC 4000 to create professional quality booklets with up to 64 images or 16 sheets.
• The optional High-Capacity Stacker attaches to the paper output path and gives high-volume users the option of stacking up to 2,500 sheets.
