2.5-inch Intelligent LCD adjusts its brightness as the lighting changes
The brightness of the LS85's high-resolution, 230,000-dot, 2.5-inch LCD automatically adjusts in nine steps to match the brightness of your surroundings.  This makes it easy for you to see the LCD when you're outdoors on a sunny day and improves viewing comfort at night or in a dark room.

Records motion images and sound
The LS85 also lets you record motion images complete with sound.  The motion images are recorded in the WGA (848 x 480) format with a 16:9 aspect ratio to fit a wide-screen TV.
