HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag

Lifetime Warranty The ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag is ideal for Small Business Networks that need to deploy wireless connectivity quickly and easily with minimal investment. The Wireless Access Point 10ag can be configured in just minutes using the intuitive Web Managed interface. The ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag also supports IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g clients simultaneously via its dual IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g radios. The Wireless Access Point 10ag can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface and has the option to be powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing for maximum location flexibility.

* Wireless AP with IEEE 802.11a/b/g support
* Powerable by PoE or AC
* Secure connectivity, dual radio, up to eight SSIDs
* Industry-leading warranty

Mobility
* Interoperability: Wi-Fi Alliance certifications including IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g Wi-Fi, and WPA2 to help ensure multivendor interoperability

Connectivity
* Simultaneous IEEE 802.11a and 802.11g dual radio operation: supports up to 64 wireless clients and provides backward compatibility for IEEE 802.11b wireless devices
Security
* Choice of Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) or WPA: locks out unauthorized wireless access by authenticating users prior to granting network access; robust Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) encryption secures the data integrity of the wireless traffic
* Supports up to eight SSIDs (four per radio): allows multiple authentication and encryption settings to accommodate the widest range of client capabilities
* IEEE 802.1X: provides port-based user authentication with support for Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) MD-5, TLS, TTLS, and PEAP with choice of AES, TKIP, and static or dynamic WEP encryption for protecting wireless traffic between authenticated clients and the access point
* RADIUS-based MAC authentication: a wireless client is authenticated with a RADIUS server based on the MAC address of the client; this is useful for clients that have minimal or no user interface
* MAC address lockout: prevents configured particular MAC addresses from connecting to the network
* Management password: provides security so that only authorized access to the Web browser interface is allowed

Manageability
* Intuitive Web interface: enables simple management via an easy-to-use Web browser interface for access point configuration, monitoring, and administration
* Integration with HP ProCurve Manager: enables discovery and mapping via ProCurve Manager, available as a free download from the Web

Ease of use
* Comprehensive LED display: provides an at-a-glance view of status, activity, speed, and radio operation

Flexibility
* Choice of power supply (standard AC power or IEEE 802.3af PoE): provides location flexibility for where the access point is deployed. To use the Power over Ethernet (PoE) option, the access point must be connected to a PoE switch or PoE injector.
* Deployment options: access point can be mounted on a vertical wall or placed on a flat surface
