Sony DPP-FP97 Picture Station Photo Printer

Fast and easy to use, the DPP-FP97 Sony Picture Station photo printer transforms your home or office into a personal photo lab. This photo printer sports a giant 3.5-inch LCD screen to preview your photos and features one-button Auto Touch-Up to correct your images before you print, including red-eye correction, white balance correction and Skin Smoothing mode to make faces look their best. In addition to direct input for standard flash media formats, the DPP-FP97 has advanced Bionz image processor features like direct HDMI output for widescreen HDTV viewing.

Correct Images with a Press of Button
Import images or expand the storage capacity of your photo frame with one of these compatible memory card types, including Memory Stick media and Memory Stick PRO Duo media, SD, SDHC, MMC, CF, xD-Picture Card and Microdrive.

Lab-quality Prints
Unlike inkjet printers using dot reproduction, this printer uses refined Sony Dye Sublimation technology. This ingenious process applies layers of color dye to create continuous tone images. Compared to inkjet printing that uses only single-color dots to print, dye sublimation printing realizes 256 gradations in each of three colors to make 16.77 million possible colors.

View and Print Photos from Your TV
Simply connect this printer to your BRAVIA Sync compatible HDTV—and then using your remote control to operate BRAVIA printing. While images can also be viewed on a non-BRAVIA Sync compatible HDTV, you'll need to use operating buttons located on the printer. Either way, virtually anybody can enjoy viewing beautiful images on the big screen.
