Contrast Ratio: Contrast ratio is the proportion between the brightest and darkest section of an image. The higher the contrast ratio, the clearer the image and the better the picture (example; 1000:1 is better than 600:1) A higher contrast ratio results in well-defined, more realistic images.

6 Segment Color Wheel (5x, 300Hz, 9000 RPM): To reduce the "rainbow effect" in DLP™ projectors, the TDP-MT8 uses a color wheel with six segments to ensure natural, saturated colors with great contrast.

Digital Keystone Correction: To allow flexibility in installation and positioning, the TDP-MT8 can be placed above or below (+/-20 degrees) the screen with no image distortion.
