Denon PMA-2000IVR Stereo Integrated Amplifier

The PMA-2000IVR incorporates an amplifier and a preamplifier into one chassis so that you can plug your source components directly into the unit for breathtaking stereo sound. It is also equipped with a power amp direct input terminal that lets you harness the superior performance of the PMA-2000IVR as a stereo power amp or as a power amp for multi-channel output.

To ensure consistently stellar sound and performance, we have passionately and precisely designed and constructed every aspect of the PMA-2000IVR. An ultra-high-current UHC-MOS single push-pull circuit amplifies your music with a perfect balance of power and precision. It is capable of conveying the most delicate musical nuances while delivering 3 to 10 times the peak current of conventional amplifiers. The twin monaural configuration prevents any possible interference between the left and right channels.

Its dual power transformers provide extended high current capability with substantial 80 watts per channel power output. The chassis is divided into 6 heavily shielded blocks to enable efficient placement of circuits so that left and right signal paths do not interfere with each other and negatively affect sound quality between the two channels. Twin transformers employ a leakage-canceling mount to eradicate magnetic interference and flux leakage, ensuring low noise within the amp and transparent speaker output. Radiators dampened with elastic rubber are situated near the vibration-absorbing feet to minimize music-muddying resonance from the power transformers and other sources.

This integrated amplifier is designed to deliver superb sound from a wide variety of sources, digital and analog. Vinyl fans will love the care that we has lavished on the phono section – it accommodates both moving-magnet and moving-coil turntables, and the phono equalizer gets its own shielded, dedicated power supply. Wide-range frequency response lets you experience all the details on your LPs, CDs, and even high-resolution SACDs and DVD-Audio discs in stereo mode.
