Upgrade your entertainment room with the HT-SS2300 component home theater system. This slim receiver, designed to look great alongside your Blu-ray Disc™ player, combines great styling with unparalleled performance and includes a 5.1-channel A/V receiver thrusting 1000 watts of power (RMS). In addition, the A/V receiver's HDMI™ interface transmits both audio and video while offering 1080p resolution and full bandwidth sound tracks (LPCM) support through a single cable. You can also integrate your portable music into a traditional home theater system while providing enhanced audio quality with the Portable Audio Enhancer. Designed to sync with Sony Blu-ray Disc components, the HT-SS2300 offers one-touch operation of compatible Sony HDMI™ components which eliminate the need of multiple remote controls.

BRAVIA® Sync™
As a leader in products with HDMI™ connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA® Sync™ technology to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a select number of BRAVIA® LCD televisions and other Sony audio and video products, control functions will also be transmitted via the HDMI cable (sold separately). With “One Touch Play”, operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on, then the BRAVIA® television will turn on and switch to the correct video input.

DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
Play and control your favorite stored music seamlessly from your home theater system. Connect accessories to play back music from Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, networked computers or select iPod® or Network Walkman™ digital music players (optional accessories sold separately). The DMP accessories include a PC Client Ready device (TDM-NC1), Bluetooth® receiver (TDM-BT1) and Docking Stations compatible with select Network Walkman™ players (TDM-NW1) and iPod® products (TDM-iP10).

HDMI "Active Intelligence"
The receiver detects and receives the best possible video and audio signals from all connected devices; making connection and performance as simple as plugging in a single wire. Sony's HDMI "Active Intelligence" produces both audio and video through one HDMI cable (sold separately).
