The Focus Enhancements FS-CF Pro Compact Flash DTE recorder is the perfect companion to compatible Canon HDV* and miniDV camcorders, allowing you to upgrade to a seamless shoot-to-edit file-based workflow. Whether you're looking to save time loading into NLE systems or to backup tape in a dual-recording scenario, the FS-CF Pro DTE recorder fits the bill.

For the professional, the recorder supports 1080 24F, 25F and 30F, 50i and 60i frame rates, both in QuickTime and M2T file formats. Recording to cost effective and readily available Compact Flash (CF) cards, the FS-CF Pro DTE recorder is easy-to-use and allows you to take full advantage of all the benefits of solid state media.

The FS-CF Pro features a single card slot for recording to industry standard Type 1 Compact Flash cards. Both Windows and Mac systems can be used to read video footage recorded on the user-supplied CF cards via USB 2.0 from the FS-CF Pro unit or from standard CF card readers. Either method provides a seamless workflow from shoot-to-edit with popular non-linear editing systems.

All the popular DTE formats are supported by the FS-CF Pro. It handles QuickTime, in 1080 24F, 25F and 30F, 50i and 60i; M2T in 1080 24F, 25F and 30F, 50i and 60i for HDV and RawDV, AVI Type 1, AVI Type 2, Matrox AVI and Canopus AVI for DV. Additionally, the FS-CF Pro supports MXF in 1080 50i and 60i. Timelapse and single frame record are possible in DV and retro-disk recording by the FS-CF Pro as well.
