The NEC Storage NS440 is the easy NAS Appliance Solution from the NEC Storage NS-Series. It provides high reliability and performance, for cost-effective operation in demanding heterogeneous data and file serving environments.

Supporting all major network protocols including CIFS, NFS, & Netware, delivering high performance in multi-platform environments the NEC Storage NS440 appliance easily integrates into existing and demanding network infrastructures.

The NEC Storage NS440 also supports NAS gateway functionality allowing for the connect-in of Fibre Channel Storage Subsystems. Coupled with “point in time” snapshot capability of Volume Shadow Copy Service the NEC Storage NS440 is able to ensure high data availability.
