The ERM1000 allows advanced services to share network resources. As new service delivery technologies continue to expand, such as on-demand programming, high-speed data, and switched digital video, bandwidth can be reallocated without rewiring and reconfiguring. The ERM1000 manages all of the narrowcast QAMs in a headend using the cable operator’s policy.
