1m Underwater Shooting: Underwater use with water and dust resistance.
Thanks to dependable water resistance (equivalent to JIS Prodection Class 7), the Caplio 300G can be used in 1m depth water, and is also ideal for use in rain or humid areas. In addition, reliable dust resistance (JIS Protection Class 6) prevents dust or sand from getting inside the body.

Easy Operation: Easy to use even when wearing gloves.
The shutter button and other switches are large enough to operate even when wearing gloves. User-friendly color coding makes operation even easier.

Choise of Three Power Sources: Reliable power when you need it most.
The Caplio 300G operates on an optional high-capacity lithium-ion battery, regular AA alkaline batteries or AA nickel metal hydride batteries, or an AC adapter. This wide selection eliminates power source concerns.

Capture exactly what you see, even action scenes. The Caplio 300G's shutter responds almost instantly when pressed. A built-in, hybrid auto-focusing system combines external and through-the-lens focusing for fast, automatic focus control to match each scene.

1-cm Macro: Capture incredible detail.
In macro mode, shoot as close as 1cm to capture your subject's full richness and splendid detail. For darkened objects, use the built-in flash for macros as close as 16cm.

High-Sensitivity Mode: Illuminate subjects in the dark to capture atmosphere.
The high-sensitivity mode provides incomparably better illumination of subjects in darkened rooms or other dim environments so you can capture the atmosphere without needing to resort to flash usage. In this mode, the monitor brightens the scene to aid framing and shooting.
